Students engage in collaborative projects and peer teaching, transitioning from individual exploration to a deep-rooted sense of community — instilling a genuine love for learning and fairness.

About
An Inspired Path for Your Developing Child
Integrated, Interdisciplinary Curriculum
Rather than siloed subjects, the program connects Language, Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts, allowing students to see the relationship between fields of study for a more holistic understanding.
Collaborative Peer Teaching
Through multi-age groupings, students engage in cooperative learning and peer teaching — reinforcing their own knowledge while building essential communication and leadership skills.
Philosophy Over Mandates
While registered with the Ministry of Education, the program prioritizes the integrity of Montessori principles, meeting and often exceeding provincial guidelines by focusing on each student’s individual needs.
Our Programs
The Elementary Journey
Our classrooms are divided into three-year cycles, allowing children to grow and develop at their own pace.
Lower Elementary (Ages 6–9)
Students begin to look outside themselves and develop a strong desire for collaboration and peer groups.
Upper Elementary (Ages 9–12)
Children move toward greater abstraction and explore themes in greater depth as they prepare for the transition to our Middle School.
Our Curriculum
Beyond the Core Materials
Specialized programs that go beyond the core Montessori materials to ensure a well-rounded academic experience.
French Program
Students acquire French naturally through storytelling, theatre, and a gesture-based approach.
JUMP Math
We supplement Montessori manipulatives with the JUMP Math program to break complex concepts into achievable steps.
Health & Physical Education
Focused on mental health, skill development, cooperation and leadership rather than high-pressure competition — including cross-country and track meets, skiing, skating, and tennis.
Arts Programs
Dance, visual art, and music. Every spring, Elementary students manage and perform a show at a local theatre, building creative confidence and teamwork.
Student Information
Daily Life at Our School
Nutrition & Meals
A hot, catered, nutritious lunch for all Elementary students. We are a nut-aware zone and prioritize the health and safety of every child; parents provide daily snacks on a rotating basis.
Uniforms
Uniforms are mandatory for all Elementary students, instilling respect for the learning environment and helping eliminate social stereotypes.
Extended Care
Care beyond regular hours for working families. Before school 8:00–8:30am; after school until 6:00pm.
Communication & Partnership
We encourage parents to reach out by email and phone, with parent-teacher interviews twice a year and Information Nights to help you understand the Montessori journey.
